House Rules
Welcome!
We are delighted to welcome you to our holiday home in Crete.
To ensure that all guests enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay, and to help preserve both the house and the unique natural surroundings, we kindly ask you to observe the following house rules.
1. Peace and Consideration
Our holiday home is located in a quiet area and is intended for guests seeking rest and relaxation. Please be considerate of our neighbours at all times and avoid unnecessary noise, especially during the evening and nighttime hours.
2. No Parties or Events
Parties, celebrations, or any other events are not permitted in the house or anywhere on the property. The holiday home is intended exclusively for a quiet and relaxing stay.
3. Responsible Use of Water
Water is a valuable and limited resource on Crete. We kindly ask you to use it responsibly:
* Avoid unnecessarily long showers.
* Do not leave taps running when not in use.
* Please use the washing machine and dishwasher only when they are fully loaded whenever possible.
* Report any leaking taps or other water-related issues promptly.
By using water responsibly, you make an important contribution to protecting the island's natural resources.
4. Save Energy
Please switch off the air conditioning, lights, and electrical appliances whenever you leave the house or when they are not in use. This helps conserve energy and protect the environment.
5. No Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the holiday home.
For fire safety and environmental protection, smoking is also strictly prohibited in the adjacent olive grove and its immediate surroundings. Especially during the hot summer months, Crete faces a significant risk of wildfires.
6. Care for the Property
Please treat the holiday home, its furnishings, and all equipment with care. If any damage occurs during your stay or if you notice any defects, please inform us as soon as possible.
7. Respect Nature
Please help us preserve the beauty of the Cretan landscape. Do not leave any litter outdoors, and respect the local wildlife and vegetation.
8. Swimming Pool
To ensure that all guests can enjoy the pool in a clean and excellent condition, we kindly ask you to follow these rules:
* For safety reasons, glass bottles, drinking glasses, and other breakable items are not permitted in the pool area.
* Please remove sand, grass, soil, and other dirt from your feet and swimwear before entering the pool.
* The pool is not a place for eating. Drinks are permitted only in shatterproof containers.
* Please leave the pool area clean and tidy. Dispose of all rubbish, food waste, and empty bottles after use or before your departure.
* Please allow sunscreen and tanning oils to absorb properly before entering the water to help maintain water quality.
* Children may use the pool only under the supervision of a responsible adult.
In the event of non-compliance with these rules, or if exceptional contamination requires additional cleaning or a complete water change, we reserve the right to charge the resulting costs.
